Meet Desiree
Desiree Taylor, RMT & Breathwork Facilitator.
Hello and welcome. My name is Desiree and since 2009, I have had the privilege of helping people as a Registered Massage Therapist. My journey in to this career path started because of a deeply personal experience. I witnessed the devastating effects of addiction in my family and at a very young age became devoted to holistic wellness. I chose Massage Therapy because of my desire to make a positive impact and provide an alternative path to healing.
In 2021, I found Breathwork. I had been suffering with depression and unable to work for 6 months. A friend of mine invited me to a retreat and it was here that I did Breathwork for the first time. I was gifted with the ability to connect to the truest form of myself and see my life’s path through my heart rather than my mind. I have always had an immense sense of respect for the human body and its capacity to heal itself but I had never experienced it like this before. Intuitively, I knew that this work was what I needed to navigate through my own darkness and I knew that I needed to serve my community in this way.
My personal journey has transformed into a mission to empower others to find healing, balance and resilience within themselves. I understand that emotions, memories and traumas can be held physically in the body and my hope is to help you uncover those blockages as you move forward in the healing process. It is an absolute honour to serve my community in this capacity and I promise to help you to the best of my ability.
